Modern Slavery Policy

Modern Slavery Act – Guiding Principles This statement is made for and on behalf of i2N Ltd pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”) and constitutes our Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement (“Statement”) for the financial year ending 31 July 2017.

i2N is a limited company registered in England (CRN 03735340). It provides Information Technology software and associated services. Adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards is one of our guiding principles. We are committed to preventing slavery or human trafficking in any aspect of our business or supply chain.

We have undertaken an assessment of the risks of slavery or human trafficking and reviewed our existing business policies and procedures to ensure that the preventive measures are appropriate and proportionate to the level of risk. Our Recruitment and Selection policy requires all potential employees to provide evidence of entitlement to work in the UK.

Our third party supply chain includes providers of office supplies, security personnel, catering and cleaning services as well as businesses which supply us with IT systems and support. We require suppliers to be compliant with the Act and hold regular review meetings with them to monitor and audit performance. We require our suppliers to pay the National Living Wage.

Reverse Advent 2017

Reverse Advent 2017

Over the Christmas period, i2N decided to carry out a collection of items over December for the Ipswich Charity FIND. The idea of a ‘Reverse Advent’ is instead of receiving a gift (usually chocolate) each day we donate a gift. We placed boxes under our Christmas tree located in our Suffolk office to help us improve Christmas for those in need. 

Some of the items included canned goods, jams, coffee, tea, chocolate, crisps, pasta, toilet rolls, shampoo, shower gel, cereals, custards and of course… Super Noodles.  We also provided FIND with a luxury Christmas hamper containing Champagne, luxury chocolates, Christmas pudding, Christmas cheeses.

On January 5th, we delivered the collection to the FIND office, who were delighted. The luxury hamper donation will be used as the first prize in a Charity Quiz later in the year.
